Chocolate Balls

Chocolate balls are always a favourite. This recipe has an adult twist with the addition of a lovely Prenzel liqueur. Easy to make they are a lovely touch to a dinner party. Enjoy!

Ingredients:  
  • 250g pkt Sweet plain biscuits, crushed
  • 4 tbsps. Belgium Style Drinking Chocolate
  • 400g can Condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Prenzel Tipsy Cherries, chopped and/or apricots, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
  • 4 tbsps. Prenzel Kirsch Liqueur

 

Method:  

 

Mix together crushed biscuits, Belgium Style Drinking Chocolate Prenzel Tipsy Cherries (and/or apricots) and Mix together crushed biscuits, Belgium Style Drinking Chocolate Prenzel Tipsy Cherries  (and/or apricots) and Prenzel Kirsch liqueur. Add enough condensed milk to make a sticky consistency; (approximately ¾ of the can). Using a generous teaspoon of mixture, form into small balls; roll in the coconut to coat.


Variations:

Instead of Prenzel Kirsch Liqueur, use your favourite flavour that goes with chocolate.
E.g. Prenzel Chocomulu Chocolate Schnapps, Prenzel Coffee Liqueur, Orangecello, Peppermint Schnapps, Creme de Cassis.... etc.
