Prenzel
Tiramisu
A
traditional Italian dessert, Tiramisu means 'tonic'
or 'pick me up'. Serves 6
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
Separate eggs. Add caster sugar to egg yolks
and beat until thick, creamy and very pale.
Gently mix Mascarpone cheese to egg yolk mixture.
Stir through the Prenzel Cream Liqueur.
In another bowl beat egg whites and salt until
stiff, then fold into the cheese mixture.
Pour Espresso liqueur into shallow bowl and briefly
dip half of the sponge fingers in, then arrange
coffee soaked fingers in dish.
Cover fingers with half of the cheese mixture
and soak then layer the remaining sponge fingers.
Cover with remainder of cheese mixture.
Refrigerate until needed. Dust with cocoa powder
prior to serving.
Serve with a shot of Espresso Liqueur and Prenzel
Cream Liqueur used in recipe.
