Makes about 2 cups

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • ¾ cup Prenzel Garlic Olive Oil
  • 5 Tbsp softened butter
  • 4 Tbsp freshly grated Romano cheese
  • ¾ cup freshly grated parmesan
  • ½ cup chopped pine nuts

METHOD

Place basil leaves in food processors or blender and process at medium speed.

Add ½ cup of the oil while scraping the basil from the container sides and blend.

Transfer to mixing bowl and add remaining ingredients, adjusting quantities as desired.
